I wanted to say happy meatless Monday, but it’s Friday today so happy meatless Friday!!

Today I decided to spice things up a bit. Instead of our usual takeout on Friday night we went meatless. Now, we are not a vegetarian family but we all do enjoy eating vegetarian meals every now and then. We would eat vegetarian much more often if there was more variety available. Sometimes It feels as if my brain goes blank and I can’t think of any veggie main dishes, it’s not as easy as you think to make veggies taste like meat!
The solution! Morningstar farms! They offer a wide range of pre-paired and pre-seasoned vegetarian meals that are seriously delicious! Basically you purchase your favorite selection morning star “meat” products, then go on their website to see all the different types of recipes you can make with just that one product. There is a ton of inspiration on there!
Have you tried the spicy black bean veggie burger? If you haven’t you MUST give it a try. Everyone who’s tried it swears it’s that awesome! you can use the patties to make a ton of different recipes not just burgers. Just because you start with one of our veggie burgers doesn’t necessarily mean you’re making a veggie burger. What “out-of-the” bun creations can you come up with?
