Perfect in tacos, quesadillas, in salads or with veggies. All-Purpose Spicy Shrimp SkilletHere we have a super simple skillet shrimp. Just a few ingredients and all done in the comfort of your skillet. This shrimp works great in tacos, quesadillas, wraps, on rice, with veggies, or on a chopped salad.
All-Purpose Spicy Shrimp SkilletIt can be marinated overnight or used as soon you marinate it. I used jumbo shrimp but any type of shrimp will work well for this.Spicy Shrimp Tacos with Avocado Salsa & Sourcream Cilantro Sauce (2 of 26)

Now the secret to getting this shrimp perfectly cooked and perfectly is by heating your skillet until it’s very hot. I like to use a cast-iron for this because it retains the heat but any heavy-duty skillet will work well. Just be sure to heat it on high for at least 2 minutes before adding the shrimp. The heat will cook the shrimp and give them a nice exterior while keeping all the juice locked into keep them nice and moist.All-Purpose Spicy Shrimp Skillet

  2. This is now my favorite recipe for shrimp. My husband and I loved it! Like a few others, I did add a bit more garlic and added red crushed pepper. Did not add lime. I used large sized shrimp. DELICIOUS.

  3. I just made this tonight. I added another clove of garlic and some red pepper flakes and had it over some leftover buttered noodles and broccoli. It was very good. Only thing I’ll do different next time is a little more red pepper flakes. Great easy quick recipe.

  5. Hi! I haven’t made these YET, but tomorrow night it is ON!!
ONE question tho….you’ve got olive oil twice, 1 & a half tablespoon then 1 more tablespoon!? Is that correct? If SO, where does the second amount GO?
