One of the reasons I love whole foods is the ingredients that I discover while shopping there. For example, I never noticed coconut flour in my local supermarket before, but noticed it right there in the flour isle at whole foods, right away. I guess it’s because their shelves aren’t cluttered with a whole bunch of generic items.
So after giving coconut flour a shot, I fell in love with it. I love the texture and the fact that it’s gluten free! It’s a godsend for people who are gluten intolerant because it’s 100% gluten free and loaded with fiber and protein; It’s a much healthier alternative to white flour.
I’ve compiled a list of my favorite coconut flour recipes from my gluten free, food blogger friends. Enjoy and let me know what you think about coconut flour or if you have anyone in your family that is gluten intolerant; I love hearing your stories!

For those of us on a budget (we call Whole Foods “whole paycheck” in my house) Coconut flour is also available in bulk at Winco. It is the organic Bob’s Redmill coconut flour but it is significantly cheaper. I just wanted to let folks know you don’t have to go to a upscale grocery store to get this amazing stuff. I can’t wait to try your pizza dough recipe!
