Easy Homemade Cheese Danish recipe

Once you taste these homemade cheese danish I promise you will never buy another supermarket danish again. This recipe uses frozen puff pastry. You can make your own but its way too much work and takes too long.

Easy Homemade Cheese Danish Recipe

Ingredients 

  • 2 sheets, 1 box frozen puff pastry, defrosted
  • 1 eggs yolks at room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • ? cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Spread the puff pastry and cut each sheet into 6 peices
  • Mix the cream cheese, egg, vinilla extract, and sugar untill soft and creamy
  • Place a spoonful of the cream filling on each sheet and pinch closed
  • back at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
  • Let cool and then sprinkle with powdered sugar

    1. you can use however much you want because it’s the powdered sugar to top them once they’re done
