If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s nutella right out of the jar. I can’t imagine how many times I sat there and ate one spoonful after the other while telling myself “okay.. this is the last one!”. Nutella is extremely addictive, and you know what’s more addictive? These delicious nutella thumbprint cookies.
If your in the pantry scratching your head right now, don’t worry. All you need is nutella, flour, butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. These babies are super easy to make and can be prepared and baked in 30 minutes.
Roll into a ball about a1 inch in diameter.
Press on the dough with your thumb or the bottom of a measuring spoon.
This is how they look after baking. They are very light, buttery, and flaky. Seriously, these cookies make you feel like you are in a little bakery in Paris and I’m not exaggerating.
Using a pastry piping bag or a zip-lock bag like I did. Fill the center of the cookies with pure Nutella.

Have any of you actually made and tasted these cookies? I am more interested in how they taste than how they look 🙂
i just tryd these and they are crumbly and tough
I’m going to try these this afternoon. I will post again once they are done. I just had to comment that many people leave a comment( not just here) but have not actually made the recipe. What is the point?? I read the reviews to get an idea how they turn out ! I will update after making these.
I’m with ya on nutella- I can’t seem to keep my spoon out of it. I had to start buying the 1 serving packages for when I really want it to restrain myself! I might have to buy a regular size jar to make these though…
The Jar of Nutella can not ever stay more than 24 hours without my hubby, daughter, or myself licking it away! I don’t know what it is about nutella that’s so addictive!
You made me want to go make these now.
I know what you mean madonna! it’s their simplicity that drives you to them. I just made another batch yesterday. Super easy, Whoa Whoa!

Love how simple and delicious these cookies look, Layla. We love Nutella in our household and cookies don’t stay around more than a couple of days before we’ve scarfed them all down. Pinning your recipe. Just noticed that we have the same “Foodie” theme. Don’t you love it? Shay’s a mastermind!
