These southwest chicken-free tacos are super easy to make and taste just like chicken without all the mess and fuss. The flavor and texture of the chicken is just like regular chicken except it has a extra hint of flavor.
Today I teamed up with BeyondMeat to bring you the best chicken tacos I have ever tasted. Oh and did I forget to mention that the are vegetarian!?
Okay so I know what your thinking… How it is possible to have vegetarian chicken tacos when being a vegetarian in the complete opposite of eating meat..

Beyond Meat Vegetarian Chicken Tacos
- 1 container BeyondMeat Southwest Style chicken-free strips
- 1 cup lettuce shredded any kind
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- cilantro or green onions for topping optional
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 small lime quartered
- 4 small flour tortillas
Heat large an or skillet to medium heat; add oil and heat for a few seconds. Add chicken-free strips. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until strips are golden in color.
Lay tortillas flat on plate. Add a layer of shredded lettuce. Top with chicken, onions and sour-cream. Sprinkle chopped green onions or/and cilantro. Squeeze 1/4 of the lime on each taco.
