Crispy sesame cauliflower ‘chicken’ bites are crispy, sticky, spicy, sweet and make the perfect appetizer or snack!
Crispy Sesame Cauliflower BitesThis is my 3rd cauliflower bites recipe and it just keeps getting better you guys. These cauliflower sesame “chicken” bites taste so much better than chicken and are crispy & sticky on the outside, and tender on the inside. Plus, they are pretty easy to whip up and make an extremely tasty snack.

So as usual, I made these delicious bites and offered some to my daughter as sesame chicken bites. She noticed they are cauliflower rather than chicken but said they tasted so good, she didn’t even care it was cauliflower. Yes you guys, I swear they’re that good. An explosion of Asian flavors as soon as you bite into one.

They can be fried or baked and they taste AMAZINGLY delicious both ways but I honestly prefer the fried version because frying them makes them extra crispy and as a result they become nice and sticky when you add them to the sauce. With that begin said, if you’re on a diet or watching your health, then the fried version is probably not worth it. I’ve shared the baked and fried versions below. Enjoy <3 Crispy Sesame Cauliflower Bites

  2. Can you give me any details on a dipping sauce , thanks for the recipe, love the fried Cauliflower.

    1. I’m happy you enjoyed the cauliflower. Which dipping sauce are you referring to?

  3. I really liked this recipe on paper and was looking forward to making it, but it turned out ridiculously salty. I didn’t add any extra salt, so it must have been the soy sauce? Might try it again sometime, but with maybe just a tablespoon or so of the soy sauce.

  4. The bake PArt of this recipe is so off. That is too much flour and too Much baking Soda. It just stuck in the crevices and tastes so much like FLOUr. I recommend just roasting the cauliflower. Much much better. 2 STArs because the sauce was fine, just NEEDed a little more sweetness to balance out the vinegar and Soy sauce.

  5. Terrible recipe. Not clear on how much floUr to coat – COMPLETELY pur too much. Baked for 1 hour …. dressing 2 Tbsp corn starch – wAy too much For the smount of liquid – instantly clumped up ! What a waste of good ingredients .

  6. Too many steps for a rather small amount of food. A bit on the salty side and cauliflower rather mushy.
Sauce on own might be fine, but recipe as whole is not one I’d make again
