  • Preheat the oven to 325F. Grease a square pan, line it with parchment paper, and keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl beat egg, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and oil. Add the mashed avocados. 
  • Combine the dry and wet mixture until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter. 
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake the bread for 50-60 minutes until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool down for 10 minutes and then invert the pan on a wire rack. Once it has cooled completely slice the brownies to equal squares and serve.

  1. Can you use avocados that are overripe and starting to turn brown and don’t look at all appetizing to eat. The brown color will not be seen the dark brown fudge brownie anyway. Will this affect the taste and have you tried this?

  2. The chocolate flavor is good, but since there’s no leavening they’re very dense and thick. More bread like than fudgy or cakey.
