One thing I love about the winter is that it makes you hungry for warm comfort food. All I want to do this winter is throw on a sweater, grab a plate of food, a blanket, and settle on the sofa. Yea I know.. I’m just letting my imagination get the best of me but I can still enjoy eating right? I’m going to be doing a whole lot of cooking and baking this winter and I’m glad you are joining me for the ride!
These fries are baked in light olive oil with just a hint of paprika. It’s a pretty basic dish and can be eaten alone or as a side. Wash the potatoes without peeling them and cut them into long strips. Coat with some salt, pepper, and paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes and walla! Delicious cripsy on the outside soft and yummy on the inside! Oh my.. I’m making myself hungry! I think I’m going to bake some more now.
Ingredients
- 3 potatoes cut in wedges
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions

- Wash the potatoes and cut into long wedges
- In a medium pan mix the potatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, oil, and breadcrumbs.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30-25 minutes.

Thanks Erin I’m glad you liked them! 🙂
Love the hit of paprika on these and that they are baked vs. fried. Looks like a yummy addition to any dinner!
