Why Make Garlic Soy Chicken Wings?

If you love Korean chicken wings, you will love these Garlic Soy Chicken wings. They’re loaded with flavor and texture and have become our go-to wings. These wings are healthier than traditional wings because you will bake them in the oven and use fresh ingredients to prepare them.

This baking method results in super crispy chicken wings just like the wings you would buy from a takeout restaurant and even better. If you want to continue eating chicken wings but would prefer to avoid frying them, this is the ideal recipe for you to follow!

How Do You Make the Garlic Soy Chicken Wings?

When you want to make these delicious Garlic Soy Chicken Wings that taste great as an appetizer or a main course meal, you will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and get a baking sheet ready with aluminum foil on top of it. Place a wire rack over the baking sheet with the aluminum foil and set it off to the side. You will eventually place your chicken on top of that wire rack.

Grab a large mixing bowl and combine your chicken wings with spices and corn starch.

Place them flat on the rack and bake them in the oven for up to 50 minutes. Be sure to flip the chicken wings halfway through.

While you wait for the wings to bake, place a pan on the stovetop and set it to medium-high heat. Combine butter and garlic into the pan, cooking for about 30 seconds. Stir in the rest of your sauce ingredients and allow those ingredients to simmer for several seconds.

When your wings are ready to remove from the oven, toss them into the sauce and coat them with it. Serve your wings right away for a fresh and delicious meal.

Can You Reheat the Chicken Wings?

While it is best to serve your Garlic Soy Chicken Wings immediately, you might have leftovers that you need to save for later. In that case, put your chicken wings into a food storage container and refrigerate them.

When you need to reheat them, the best way to do so without compromising the flavor or texture is to toss them into an air fryer. The air fryer will bring them back to life. If you do not have an air fryer, put the wings back in the oven for a few minutes to warm them.

What to Serve With Your Garlic Soy Chicken Wings

Not sure what to serve with the Garlic Soy Chicken Wings? You have plenty of options. These wings go great when served alongside a bed of white rice or vegetable fried rice.

You can even choose cauliflower rice if you want an option with fewer carbs. Besides rice, these wings will go fantastic with fries, potato skins, onion rings, and a fresh salad. You can make a meal with your wings by preparing a side or two to go with them.
