What You’ll Need to Make Keto Pecan Pie

When making the Keto Pecan Pie, the ingredients required differ from what you would typically use in a traditional pecan pie that is not keto-friendly. Make sure to purchase the following ingredients:

Almond Flour – Instead of using traditional all-purpose flour, you will need almond flour to prepare this keto-friendly pie.

Monk Fruit Sweetener – As an alternative for regular sugar that would generally get added to a pie to give it a sweet taste, you will need to use monk fruit sweetener. It is the perfect keto replacement because it adds that slight sweetness to the pie.

Maple Extract – The maple extract offers a slight hint of maple syrup taste to the pie to make it even more flavorful.

Chopped Pecans – Of course, you need to have pecans to make a pecan pie. Make sure to buy the chopped ones because they are easier to work with when preparing this delicious pie.

Vanilla Extract – An added touch of vanilla extract pairs well with the maple extract, pecans, and monk fruit sweetener.

Besides these essential ingredients, you should have eggs, cream, and melted butter to prepare the Keto Pecan Pie.

How to Make Keto Pecan Pie

Before you get started, grease a 9inch pan and set your oven to 350F. You will need to mix your eggs, butter, almond flour, sweetener, and salt to create a slightly thick dough that you will use as your Keto Pecan Pie crust.

After preparing the dough and spreading it out in the pan, whisk cream, monk fruit sweetener, melted butter, maple extract, and vanilla extract together.

You will need to put the pecans on top of the dough and then pour the wet blend of ingredients on top of them. Bake the Keto Pecan Pie for roughly 40 minutes.

How to Store Keto Pecan Pie

Store your Keto Pecan Pie in a pie container with a foil bottom and plastic lid. Put it in the fridge to keep it fresh. You can pre-slice it to make it easy to grab a piece when you want one. You can freeze the Keto Pecan Pie for up to two months at a time if you would like to make it in advance for a family gathering or other special occasion.
