Sometimes we are so busy with life we forget to take a step back and think about the things that really matter in life.. Our family.
My life is very hectic and my schedule is always packed, and sometimes, I feel like I barely have enough time to breath.. but when I see my little girl running around the house everything around me stops and all my focus turns to her.
Although I have two extraordinary girls, today I am choosing to write about one. She is my youngest. The one that is always joyful and curious. She often feels overshadowed by her older sister’s dynamic presence.
I had 3 miscarriages prior to having my little girl. I eventually lost hope in being able to conceive again and thought that I would never have another successful pregnancy again. Then when we found out we were expecting I prayed to god for the pregnancy to complete safely and bless us with a healthy baby.
Then came baby Layan.. The must beautiful, ambitious, playful, and happy little girl my eyes have ever set on. She is truly a blessing from god and more than anything we ever dreamed of.
Today I’m taking a step back and looking at the little things that make my baby special because sometimes the little things have the most impact on our lives. What makes your kid extraordinary isn’t just the epic stuff. It’s the little things. The small moments that maybe only you see — and quietly celebrate every day.
I made this short video for baby Layan to show how extraordinary she is.
Guess what? Your kid is extraordinary too! Stanford Children’s Health, the largest Bay Area health care provider focusing solely on expectant women and children, has made it easy for you to show how just extraordinary your child is. You too can show your child how extraordinary they are by creating a special video video of your own! Share your love, hope and pride for your extraordinary kid by creating a personalized video that captures what makes them one-of-a-kind. And if you do, please, please share a link in the comments, I would love to watch them!
