Have you ever had those days when you are hungry but really lazy to make anything other than cereal? Well, You are not alone.. I have those kind of days very often.

My 10 month old woke me up 4 a.m this morning.. Yea by the time it was breakfast time I was out of it. I decided to make this quick french toast recipe because I was tired and looking for something quick and easy to make. After-all, chocolate for breakfast, double yum!

Quick and Easy Chocolate Chocolate French Toast Recipe

Quick Chocolate French Toast

Ingredients 

  • 2 medium french bread
  • 1/4 tablespoon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk, or cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp butter

Instructions 

  • Cut into 1 inch slices
  • beat the egg, salt, and milk.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread. Be sure to coat evenly. sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the bread.
  • Heat skillet on medium heat. Place bread on skillet, cook 4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove from heat, top with chocolate and maple syrup.

    1. Of course.. The wake up calls, at times I find myself wondering when I will overcome this phase. But then again, motherhood is one big bundle ! 🙂
