The Best Ever Brownies (Fudgy, moist & Chewy)

The Best Ever Brownies (Fudgy, moist & Chewy)When I say these are the best ever brownies, I REALLY mean it you guys. We are a brownie loving family; we make brownies at least once a week, and this if my favorite recipe for quick and easy fudge brownies.

I remember a few years ago, I did not have a perfect go-to brownie recipe. My brownies would either come out too cakey and dry or too flat and hard. I was never able to get that fudgy chewy inside with a nice crust on top. After months of recipe development and about 30+ pans of brownies I finally got it! ????

Although these brownies are completely from scratch, the batter comes together very quickly. Once you start making brownies from scratch I promise you will never go back to boxed mix again! The Best Ever Brownies (Fudgy, moist & Chewy)

Amazing brownies Recipe

unsalted butter can also be used + an additional 1//4 teaspoon salt. Brownies can also be baked in a round pie dish or 9x9 square pan but will be a little thinner. To double the recipe, bake in a 13x9 pan 5-10 minutes longer.

  • 1 stick salted butter 1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1/4 cup walnuts optional

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line an 8x8 baking pan with aluminium foil or parchment paper or spray with cooking spray; set aside.

  • Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate together over low heat in a medium saucepan or in the microwave in 30 sec increments while stirring, until the chocolate and butter are fully melted.

  • Remove from heat and add the sugar and stir. Add beaten eggs and vanilla and stir until well combine. Add flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Gently stir just until blended (do not overmix batter).

  • Pour batter into pre-pared and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust has formed and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for at least 15 minutes before attempting to cut.

what should I do if my sides are cooked but my middle is not.

I’Ve tried this recipe and the result is Amazing. Crunchy on the outside moist inside. 😊

Does this work with cocoa powder or the CHOCOLATE squares? I’ve never made homemade brownies.

Oops! Not sure why chocolate is in caps…

Yes, as long as it’s baking chocolate, it should work!

Is it vanilla extract that you used? Can I use vanilla syrup? Sorry, I’m just a newbie at baking. Thanks!

i added sea salt and choc. chips to top as well.

Hai..Can i use coarse sugar instead granulated sugar in fudge brownies? Tq LaylaLayla😊

Hai Layla..can you please give the portion of the ingredients for 20-24 servings ? I really need it. Thanks Layla

Double the recipe and bake in a 9×13” pan then cut into small squares 24 pieces (cut four down and six across, to yield 24 squares). Enjoy!

Hi! Can I use hershey’s cocoa unsweetened chocolate for this? Thanks!

Can I omit the chocolate chips? I do not like them in my brownies>

I modified it a little because I’m a chocolate addict. So I up the unsweetened chocolate to 3 oz and the semisweet chocolate chips to 3/4 cup but down the sugar to 1/2 cup. I also prefer the more complex flavours from brown sugar and substituted that in. Delicious!

Very good! I used really good quality chocolate and they were amazing. Thank you!

Has any of you made them? they look great! but I would like to know what the results are in a “normal” kitchen, were they fudgy? have a nice paper-thin crust?, very “chocolatey”? thank you.

doubled recipe added about 1/4 cup strong coffee and used really good Belgium Chocolate powder and dark chocolate wafers……Wonderful so easy and so good….thank you very much.

I added some instant coffee granules (about 3 tsp) and 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon and chopped marshmallows. Mocha rocky road brownies!
