Easy Chocolate Vanilla Ice Cream Cake (with ice cream sandwiches)
I used the bigger cool whip and also used 16 sandwich cookies because I made a large cake. This recipe is perfect for 3 layers, 4 sandwiches in each layer. Recipe adapted from Kraft.

- 1/2 cup hot fudge ice cream topping warmed
- 1 tub 8 oz. COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 1 pkg. 3.9 oz. JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
- 12 vanilla ice cream sandwiches
Combine fudge topping and 1 cup Cool Whip in medium bowl until blended. Add dry pudding mix; stir for 1 minute or until fully combined and the mixture is slightly thick and creamy.
Arrange 4 ice cream sandwiches, side-by-side, cover with half the Cool Whip mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining sandwiches. Frost with remaining Cool Whip. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours before cutting ( I cut mine too soon!). .
