Lemon Zested Cream Cheese Frosting
This recipe will make enough frosting to frost 24+ cupcakes or 8'' 1 cake. Be sure to allow the cream-cheese and lemon to sit out at room temp for at least 1-2 hours or microwave for a few seconds then allow to sit until soft.

unsalted butter
2 sticks , softened

cream cheese
1 bar, softened

cups
powdered sugar
zest of 1 lemon
about 2 tablespoons
1
tablespoon
fresh lemon juice
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat together the butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer until pale and creamy.
Lower the speed and add the powdered sugar a cup at a time until smooth and fluffy
Beat in the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest.
