Marinate: Combine all ingredients for the marinade together in a large bowl. Cover and marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
Batter & Fry: In a shallow bowl, whisk the flour and spices. Remove chicken from the marinade and dress each piece in the flour mixture.
Heat oil in a deep skillet over a pot over medium-high heat to 350F. Add the chicken to the oil and fry 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165F.
Transfer to a wire rack to drain. Brush with Nashville hot sauce on all sides.
To make Nashville hot sauce: whisk all the ingredients in a small bowl. You can use melted butter or ½ cup of oil from the remaining oil used to fry the chicken.
