Garlic Shrimp Pasta is easy to make with just a handful of ingredients, and can be on the dinner table in less than 30 minutes! A simple parmesan cheese cream sauce is stirred together, and then tossed with seasoned pan-fried shrimp and linguine noodles. It’s an insanely delicious meal and sure to become a new family favorite!
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente (about 10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water then drain pasta.
While the pasta is cooking, combine the shrimp, olive oil, and seasoning in a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for 1 minute per side or until the shrimp is charred. Remove shrimp from the skillet and add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Add the garlic and cook the garlic for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water. Stir until parmesan has melted through and sauce has loosened. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
Toss in the cooked pasta until fully coated with the sauce. Top with the shrimp and gently toss to combine. Garnish with fresh chopped presley, more parmesan, or red pepper flakes. Serve immediately!
Notes
To store: Place leftovers in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.To reheat: Rewarm servings in 30 second intervals in the microwave until warmed through. It may be necessary to add a splash of water or broth to loosen up the pasta and keep it from being overly dry.
