Cheeseburger Eggrolls with burger sauce are a simple and easy appetizer. Perfect for parties and fun gatherings with friends! They can be fried or made in the air fryer for a healthier alternative.
Start by heating up a pan on the stove and spraying it with cooking oil. Add the diced onion and bell pepper and saute until they are softened.
Once softened, add the beef and the spices and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the beef is cooked all the way through.
In a different skillet, add the oil and heat it up to 350 degrees.
Grab an egg roll wrapper and add 2 tablespoons of the cooked cheeseburger filling into the middle. Be sure to leave an inch on each side of the wrap.
Add 1/2 slice of cheddar cheese (or 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese) and fold the corner that's closest to you over the mixture. Tuck that corner under the filling. Then fold both side corners towards the middle of the wrapper.
Dip clean fingers into egg water and run it along the edges to seal and roll the eggroll tightly.
Fry the egg rolls in batches, about 1-2 minutes per side, until they are golden and crispy. Serve with your favorite dip or this amazing Burger Sauce.
To make in the air fryer: generously spray egg rolls with oil. Cook for 10 minutes at 375F, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
