Creamy Ranch Chicken Breasts are super tasty and easy to make one pan 20 minute dish! Well-seasoned golden pan fried chicken is smothered in a rich cream sauce for a dish that's sure to please the whole family!
Lay chicken breasts on cutting board or flat surface and slice in half horizontally to make 4 thin cutlets. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, then dredge in flour and shake off any excess.
Heat oil in a large heavy-duty skillet. Place chicken breasts in the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Transfer the chicken breasts to a plate and set aside.
To the same pan, add the butter and garlic and cook for a minute or until the garlic is fragrant. Whisk in the ranch seasoning and pour in the chicken broth and heavy creamy. Bring to a simmer then reduce the heat, taste the sauce, and add more salt & pepper as desired.
Return the chicken to the sauce and spoon sauce over the chicken. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or veggies.
