Ingredients

butter

whole milk or heavy cream

salt & pepper

shredded cheddar cheese; optional
Instructions
Microwave the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl until just melted. Brush it all over the bowl.
Crack eggs into the bowl then whisk in the milk and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
Microwave the eggs, uncovered, for 30 seconds. Gently give them a stir with a fork then add in a small handful of cheese if desired.
Microwave for an additional 45 seconds or until fluffy and almost set. Serve immediately!
