Can you imagine starting off your morning with this yummy smoothie?! If I had one of these smoothies everyday, my days would run a lot smoother!
This smoothie is packed with peanut butter and chocolate. I’ve never had a problem paring peanut butter and chocolate because they always seem to go so well ogether! Whip everything int he blender for 1 minute until everything is incorporated and it’s nice and creamy then top it off with your high protein chopped chocolate.
Now that my daughter is home I tend to move around much more than I would when she was in school. This means running around the house, up and down the stairs, in and out, you name it. Sometimes I feel like I can’t possibility do it; by the end of the day I’m out of it!
Over the past two weeks I’ve had the chance to try out the Life Choice bars (sold exclusively at Walmart) and I’m so in love with them right now! Now it’s easier for me to get the added nutrition I need right in a bar. They taste great and are much more affordable then other health and nutrition bars. They are also perfect for on the go, grab a few in your purse and snack on them whenever you feel hungry or better yet, top them on circle, ice-cream or smoothies!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie
- ⅓ cup chocolate syrup
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream (or frozen yogurt, I used ice cream)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 2 cups ice cubes
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 Lifestyle bars, Chopped (Peanut butter and Chocolate)
- Place all ingredients in your blender. Blend on high for about 1 minute, or until nice and creamy. Top with chopped chocolate. Drink with a straw or dig in with a spoon!
