Ingredients

  • 1 small Keurig coffee cup, I used Green Mountain Coffee
  • 8-12 oz cup filled with iced
  • 2 tablespoons half & half or Evaporated milk, I used evaporated milk
  • 3-4 teaspoons sugar to taste

Instructions

  • Turn the coffee maker on and it will automatically begin heating up the water. While it's heating up the water go ahead and fill a big glass (8-12 oz) with ice all the way to the top.

  • When the Coffee maker reads "open head" go ahead and insert your favorite flavor of coffee or use the per-measured "my k-cup" and fill it up with your own coffee. Select your cup size, I use the iced-coffee size. Now press "brew" and watch your coffee brew instantly.

  • After the coffee is done dripping, remove the cup from the coffee maker and add the cream and sugar. If you are serious about your iced-coffee you can even freeze pre-made coffee in ice cube trays and use them when you make coffee.

  1. I have a K*Café brewer. Whe. I make mine I place about 1-2oz of caramel syrup (ghirardelli salted caramel flavored sauce is my favorite) in a glass. I brew 6oz of coffee (experimented with various flavors of dark roast, ESPECIALLY McDonald’s dark brew taste the best). I brew the coffee in the cup with the syrup, add creamer (flavored creamers work great) stir, then fill with crushed ice.

P.S. you can also put a jar on the counter and “PAY” yourself each time you brew a cup, you’ll be surprised how fast the money grows. I use the same principle when I cut my lawn, use to pay my lawn guy $40.00 per cut. Now I pay myself $50.00 (inflation) per cut and use the money for my vacation. 🙂

  2. Now I can use my coffee grinder confidently! Can almond milk be use instead of evaporated milk?

  3. I love the idea of mixing one can evaporated milk and one can of sweetened condensed milk to make creamer perfect I also just got a new Keurig plus machine that makes ice coffee I like Frappuccino‘s so I will take the iced coffee put it in my blender add more ice and some chocolate and make a Frappuccino then whip cream on top Wala!!

  4. If I had a Keurig with an iced coffee option, I would not need this. How about hints for the machines with no iced coffee option.

    1. Make your coffee in seperate cup than the cup with ice. in the seperate cup add your creamer or milk and add it to the ice. If you would like it black, just put the seperate cup in the freezer for 3minutes or so then add it to ice.

  5. What cup ounce should I use If I dont have the fancy Iced Coffee option on my Keurig.?? I just have the 6, 8, or 10 oz option??

    1. Use the smallest size there is. The Keurig iced is 4oz so I would use the 6oz if that is the smallest size you have.

  6. Even better if you make it ahead of time and chill it rather than being over ice. Brewing over ice Waters it down. Even better than iced is cold brew. No coffee maker needed.

  7. Sorry but I don’t like lukewarm watered down coffee. That’s exactly what happens with this approach. A. Enter solution is to brew a cup of coffee, throw it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, pour over ice, add cream/sugar if desired.

  8. Well, I’m ecstatic about making iced coffee. My mom is giving me her Keurig this is my first coffee pot.

  9. So this is hot coffee brewed over ice… Doesn’t it just taste lukewarm then, like leftover hot coffee that u forgot to drink?

  10. I have been making iced coffee with my Keurig ever since J have had it for years. I use Delight coffee creamer because of all the different flavors. Works great for me.

  15. I make Iced coffee all the time! for creamer, I used to use evap milk too and sugar to taste, but sometimes the sugar doesn’t dissolve well. now I keep a jar of home made creamer in the fridge. I use 1 can evap milk and one can condensed milk. Shake it up until blended, and it serves as both creamer and sweetener. And its GOOD.
