Oh Saturday, how fast you come…
It feels like last Saturday was just yesterday… Y’all know Saturdays are special right, it’s the only day of the week that we get to spend time together as a family. Being the only “free” day, I really don’t want to send all day in the kitchen making lunch.
I’m going to celebrate this weekend with the new progresso recipe starters. I often don’t use pre-made sauces but I had to jump in and try this new line of sauces for myself to see what all the buzz is about. This new line of recipe starters from Progresso is supposed to save you time in your meal planning, you can prepare a home cooked dish every night of the week in 30 minutes or less. Easy to use, you only need to add a few ingredients to create delicious dishes in no time!
I decided to try the Creamy Roasted Garlic flavor, the recipe on the pouch is for skillet chicken but I wanted to make meatballs, so I did! I baked the meatballs like I usually do, then poured the pouch of cream right on the meatballs 3 minutes before taking them out of the oven. The flavor of the cream is very vibrant and well seasoned so it gave the meatballs that extra kick. They taste amazing! Kinda like Swedish meatballs with an Italian twist.
