What You Will Need to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip
Alright, let’s get started on this dip! Here’s what you will need:
- Cooked shredded chicken: I like to use rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken and shred it or replace it with canned chicken.
- Frank’s Original Red Hot Sauce: I highly suggest using Franks but any other off-brand will also work.
- Ranch dressing: The combo of ranch and buffalo sauce is a match made in heaven and helps balance the spicy levels. You can also replace the ranch with sour-cream if desired.
- Cream cheese: Make sure the cream cheese sits at room temp for at least 15 minutes so that it’s easier to mix in.
- Cheddar cheese: you can replace it with your favorite melting cheese! Mozerella, guada, Mexican, Italian or any cheese works great too!
- You will also need butter and garlic!
- For Garnish: crumbled blue cheese, sliced chives or green onion
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Dip
Begin by preheating your oven and cooking down the garlic in butter. Next, add your chicken and hot sauce then remove from the heat.
Mix in the remaining ingredients and top with More cheese if you love cheesy dishes!! Next, simply bake until bubbly and golden.
This recipe is for a fairly small batch of the dip and serves about 6-8 people. You might want to double the recipe for a large gathering. You can also make this dip in small bowls for individual servings. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

Made it and it turned out pretty well, much faster than comparable recipes. I added bacon and it didn’t really do much for the recipe, but I left out shredded chicken and it came out fine. Thanks for the recipe!_
Buffalo chicken dip is always a hit at any party! I love those chips too, especially this week potato ones.
