90 Second Microwavable Low Carb Keto BreadIf you’re on a low-carb, paleo or keto diet then you’re going to fall in love with this keto bread recipe. It’s so soft, fluffy and delicious, you’ll find it hard to believe that it’s actually keto. It’s all made in the microwave in just 90 seconds!

This bread is perfect for the mornings when you need a slice of bread to serve with your egg and bacon, for a breakfast or lunch sandwich, or for making grilled cheese. It’s perfectly soft and holds up great, especially when toasted.

For the bowl, I like to use a large ramekin or any small microwave-safe bowl. If you’re making grilled cheese, a small square sandwich size container works great. 90 Second Microwavable Low Carb Keto Bread

  1. maybe your coconut flour was rancid? My only thought about this.

  2. I’m not sure what went wrong but we don’t have a 3 ingredient version; you may have missed the egg on the top recipe. It is listed as the first ingredient.

  4. I tried your recipe and it was good but eggy. So i exchanged the egg for two egg whites and then i toasted the bread. It did not taste like eggs and it was delicious.

  5. this is the best thing ever! I wasnt even looking for keto bread, but had ABUNDANCE of almond flour. Wow. I even fooled my 15 year old son! They taste like a biscuit. I used coconut oil instead of butter.

  6. AWesome low carb ‘bread’! I tried both coconut and almond flour – latter just rose more! This is so easy, quick and yummy!

  7. Add a few small rasberries to top before micrOing. Adds color and fLavor. Then serve with more berries.

  8. everyone is asking about protein count, can you please tell us?
    thanks

    1. The nutritional info box is under the recipe box. There are 4g of protein in one bread (two when split).

  10. Wonderful taste~ I made exactly as recipe indicated but used super-fine natural almond flour. Carbs down to 3.6g turned out delicious and perfect

  11. So simple! I’m a so-so baker and this turned out perfect! Totally great if you’re missing bread!

  12. i made 4x the recipe and put it ina plastic storage container to get a loaf. Microwaved for 3 min. Came out easily and was good consistency when sliced. Havent tasTed yet because it is for lunch bu smells and looks just like the 90 sec versioN which i tried and loved yeSterday.

  13. I am usually skeptical about any bread products that I don’t buy in a store. (OK, I am a lousy BAKEr because I modify stuff out of laziness ) I tried this because I can’t stay away from bread and desperately need to loose weight with low carbs. Anyway, even with my shortcuts, this turned out fantastic!! The way I did it, it will make great little pancakes with sugar free syrup, too!!

  14. Wow, quick and easy…tasty too…just enough. Cooked in micro and them put in toaster…love…thank you.

  15. jUST WONDERING…WHAT SIZE RAMEKIN IS BEST TO USE WHEN MAKING THIS RECIPE? (SORRY FOR ALL CAPS…)

  16. Doubled the almond flour & oil, omitted the baking powder
    Baked in oven, pretty good

  17. Love it, i followed exact ingredients! I will make my OWN bread from now on..thank you!

  18. I didn’t have baking powder but i added salt and it was good! Also used clarified butter for the oil.

ALSO IF YOU USE An XTRA LARGE EGG YOU NEED TO ADD MORE ALMOND FLOUR TO MATCH THE CONSISTENCY IN THE VIDE. I microwaved and will also try baking in my toaster oven.

i think i’ll experiment with herbs like rosemary and or thyme next time.

  19. This bread is a game changer! I am just starting Mediterranean Keto and I have been hesitant because i love bread. This is an absolutely amazing alternative to carb loaded bread! YAY!

  20. Sorry for the caps. For some reason it wont let me use lowercase.
Does anybody have problem with baking soda taste in their bread? I made it this morning and i couldn’t eat it because all i tasted was baking soda.

    1. Its baking powder not soda. Try that should work great

      1. baking powders are made up of sodium bicarbonate (also known as baking soda or bicarbonate of soda) and one or more acid salts. Typical formulations (by weight) call for 30% sodium bicarbonate, 5-12% monocalcium phosphate, and 21-26% sodium aluminium sulfate. The last two ingredients are acidic. I had the same problem and I reduce the baking powder to 1/8th of teaspoon.

  21. Wow – this was just what i needed for my thanksgiving turkey sandwiches!! Thank you for this easy to make, tremendously fast bread. i was so craving a sandwich and will be making this every day for sure! This is soooo much better than oopsie bread and so much less of a pain. i cut in half, popped it into my toaster oven and the texture was great. just the right size too.

  22. Thanks for the recipe, but i Do see t tot proTein in the nutri box. I need to add it to myplate. Tnx

  23. Awesome recipe! To cut the fats, I use egg beaters and Greek yogurt (in place of oil or butter) – comes out perfect!

I’ve even added stevia and flavor extracts to make this as a sweet bread. Perfect addition to a diabetic diet!

Sorry for the caps – won’t let me use lower case…

  24. Made this with HOMEmade coconut flour, topped with an Indian curry.

    Omg! It tasted awesome!!

    Thanks for the receipe!!

  25. i FOUND AN aluminum-free baking powder! iT HAS no aluminum and no cornstarch, AND is totally carb free. It’s sold at Target and is called Market Pantry.

  26. this was a delicious recipe. I loved it. I added some of my everything bagel spice on top and was soo good. I may make this every single morning lol

  27. I made it with olive oil instead of butter. or coconut melted oil…ate with burger, lettuce, avocado , spicy mayo. super excellent bun

  28. Does it have to be microwaved? Can we bake it in the oven instead?

    1. The baking instruction is in the recipe notes. To Bake in Oven: Use a ramekin and bake at 375 for 10 minutes

  29. is there no PROtein from the egg CONTENT?
Not sure why in caps… Im not angry lol

    1. I have not tried this without eggs but you can try a flaxseed egg.

  30. Did you use baking soda? The recipe calls for baking powder and a lot of people are using baking soda which explains why they turned out salty.

  31. I was searching for nurtrition facts amd could not find them. Could YOu help with that?

    1. The nutritional recipe box is directly under the recipe.

      1. Are the nutrition facts for the coconut flour version? When I added up the ingredIENTS using ground almonds i got just 1g carbs, 26g fat and 11 protein – perfect!

  32. I would like to make a large batch and bake in a muffin tin (greased) – any advice?

  33. Is there any reason you couldn’t add rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, etc?

    1. I don’t see why not! This would make an herb bread that sounds wonderful 🙂

  34. Delicious! I’ve been Keto for almost 3 months now and this was so good, perfect texture….I will say it puffed up A lot more than I expected, mine was like a muffin but I just split it and ate it with some Kerrygold butter…I will definitely make it again, thanks!

    1. So glad you enjoyed the bread, Lindsey! It does puff up a lot so I like to split it and make two or even 3 toasted English muffins with it.

  35. That was Really good. Would there be any reason you couldnt Freeze the cooked prodcut so you have them ready

    1. I don’t see why you would not be able to freeze the bread. I suggest slicing them in half and freezing then reheating in the toaster or in a skillet with some butter.

  36. I added some shredded cheese. It was awesome tasting.
